Avery Welker is currently a third-year student at the University of Missouri School of Law. He is from Perryville, Missouri, and graduated from Missouri University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering in 2016 followed closely by a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering in 2018. At the Law School, Welker serves as the President of the Student Bar Association and as a Lead Articles Editor for the Missouri Law Review. This past summer he worked as a Summer Associate for Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in the firm’s Houston, Texas office. He plans to return there next fall to begin his legal career as an associate in the firm.
Welker feels very honored and proud to be a part of the Law School’s Veterans Clinic this semester and is excited to work with our nation’s veterans!
