Contact Us

Under the supervision of experienced attorneys, law students at the Mizzou Law Veterans Clinic help veterans – free of charge – with discharge upgrades and Department of Veterans Affairs disability compensation claims.

The Veterans Clinic does not represent veterans or their families with any criminal or civil matters. Our representation is strictly limited to VA disability benefits and discharge upgrades. If you need assistance with a criminal or civil matter, please contact an attorney or your local legal aid organization.

Unfortunately, there is a great need for VA disability compensation and discharge upgrade assistance. If you contact the Veterans Clinic regarding your VA disability compensation or discharge upgrade case, we cannot guarantee we will be able to take you on as a client. However, if you are a veteran or a family member of a veteran, we encourage you to contact us to discuss your potential VA disability compensation claim or discharge upgrade case. Even if we cannot take you on as a client, we do our best to refer you to an appropriate person or organization that can provide you with further assistance.

By contacting us, we are not undertaking your representation. As a reminder, the Veterans Clinic does not represent veterans or their families with any criminal or civil matters. In order to become a client of the Veterans Clinic, there is a robust intake process with necessary paperwork that must be completed prior to official representation. To contact us, call or email our intake specialist Eugene O’Loughlin at eugeneoloughlin@missouri.edu and (573) 882-2025.
