Martha Bradley is the inaugural Ben and Carolyn Thomas fellow in the Veterans Clinic. Martha works as an attorney in the Clinic and specifically focuses her work on the Clinic’s rural outreach program, Tigers for Troops.

She is originally from Farmington, Missouri, and is a graduate of Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri. Martha received degrees in Political Science and Criminal Justice. She was the student government president, and captain of CMU’s track and field team. Martha earned her J.D. from Mizzou Law.

Martha lives in Columbia with her fiancé, Paden Kleinhesselink. Paden is the director of sports medicine at nearby Central Methodist University. The two will be married on October 8, 2022. In her free time, Martha enjoys traveling to explore historic parts of Missouri, watching track meets, spending time with friends and family, and attending church at The Crossing in Columbia.

Martha discovered her passion for helping veterans many years ago and entered law school with the hope that she would one day use her law degree to serve veterans in some capacity. After working in the Veterans Clinic as a law student, Martha’s passion was solidified. The Thomas Fellowship provides Martha an opportunity she could not pass up.
