Sara O’Connor is a 3L at Mizzou Law. She has an MPA from the Truman School of Government and Public Affairs and recently completed a second master’s degree in history and politics through the Kinder Institute for Constitutional Democracy. Prior to attending law school, Sara worked at the MU Law Veterans Clinic handling intake for new clients and doing outreach to rural veterans through the Clinic’s Tigers for Troops Program.

In 2022, she interned with the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Office of General Counsel Appeals Litigation Group and, most recently, she was a 2023 Public Health Law Fellow with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. When she’s not busy with school, Sara spends time with her daughter, Rosalind, and collie-setter mix, Herschel.
